In case of a tremor

The hotel left me this note.

The hotel is built to resist a maximum earthquake level 7. As such, the building does move flexibly - and will

also move slightly during periods of high winds, causing some noise within

 the hotel. There is nothing to be concerned with and is to be expected,

In the event of a tremor, observe these:

-Remain in your room untill the movement has stopped - or wait for a general announcement.

-Stay away from the windows.

-If the tremor is strong, hide under a desk with a pillow over your head.

-If elsewhere within the hotel, go to the gathering point at the main lobby.

-Do not use the elevators. They will be shut down for safety purposes.

And I'm on the 20th floor. So far, so good -- the only noise is the snoring nearby. I tell myself not to panic.
